We are officially past the “its too early” stage of the year. Boys are in a hole with several teams to jump, but certainly not insurmountable. In the next 15 games, the next 30 available points, with the team hopefully being at full health sometime in this stretch, the boys will determine what the season will look like. We go 500 or worse? Lindy is probably gone and we arent making the playoffs.
If we play to our potential, 12 of these games are ones we should win. Detroit, Boston, potentially the Canucks and Oilers depending on what version of them we get? Those are potential losses. But if we are gunna be the team they are capable of, this is the time for a 12-3 or better run of hockey.I am optimistic. And boy do we owe the Jackets an asswhooping on the 16th.
