I'm 58 years old, I've watched quite a few Stanley Cup finals … hockey has changed so much since the 70's , and I'm wondering if the game of hockey is safer now then it was back then. I hope so, I hated to watch the hard hits that caused knock outs and concussions … but I also hope the game doesn't lose it's competitiveness, passion, team pride, and camaraderie like I've seen a few times this year when players skate back to the bench while one of their teammates are in a scrum, or someone sprays snow in their goalies face…those things were not allowed back in the day, back then teammates protected each other … it seems like nowadays that is just looking over your shoulder a bit as you skate back to the bench hoping no one on your team could use some help after the whistle. It's kinda sad.
so many days between Games nowadays…!!!…it's becoming a Gay Cup Playoffs…!!!…bunch of little girls playing hockey…!!!…probably all drinking Bud Light right now waiting for the next Game…!!!…not there's anything wrong with it…!!!!!!!

By that point in the game, Florida had already had Tkachuk, Fitzgerald, Duclair, Staal, Cousins, and Reinhart sent to the locker room on game misconduct penalties. Those last three are centers.

I was at both home games in Vegas, Florida panthers have been the dirtiest team since we expanded into the league. I have seen almost every home game at T-Mobile in this team is been the worst what’s up with all the high head, shots and cheap shots after the whistle, the league actually needs to step in and tell them to keep the fucking sticks down.
Believe me, if a coach has to send a defenseman to take a faceoff it is indeed garbage time.

the only reason flo rida got past Toronto was because the refs called off a goal that was clearly over the line, otherwise vegas would have a much better match up and entertaining series.
I hate narrative that Bob has been terrible… No, the team in front of him is doing a piss poor job at clearing out Vegas forwards and screening him whenever a Vegas player isn’t
When he lets in an unscreened goal, it’s because of a garbage play by his own guys (Stone’s game 1 goal and the Brett Howden goal that knocked him out of game 2)
Bob hasn’t been lights out like he was against Toronto and Carolina but when watching this series from the perspective of a Vegas fan, I just see a guy who carried this team here getting hung out to dry against a team in Vegas that has no real weaknesses (Florida on the other hand, seems to have nothing but weaknesses)
I seem to recall Edmonton winning so many face offs in the 1990 Finals against Boston that the B's had Ray Bourque taking face offs……..it didn't help.
I'm a Brandon Montour fan since he played for our Waterloo Black Hawks. Personally, I enjoyed the little whack during faceoff. He's a great guy and we still love him here❤ Go Brandon!

Bob had a rotten game. But the whole panthers team is being outplayed. Tkachuk is a horrible representation of an NHL role model.
I wouldn't count Florida out just yet. This is still the team which came back from down 3-1 to beat the Bruins.
Also, I have seen many series where the upper seed looks unstoppable in the first two games, but the momentum shifts as the series shifts to the lower seed's building for game three. The momentum doesn't always shift back afterwards.
Don’t feel for Florida at all. Their team composure is worse than Tampa’s last year.

Bobrovsky certainly has played better, but even though his save percentage in game two was terrible, I don't believe he was — as I recall, all four goals he allowed were well-placed screen shots. There's not much a goalie can do, other than be in the best position possible and hope that the puck hits them. This is why Vasy was quoted saying that he needed X-ray vision to see some of the shots that beat him in the first round.

Yeh what was notable was Panthers getting destroyed!! 5 on 5 Vegas cleary dominate. Just don't get rattled over BS penalties and the cup is all yours.
