7:22 of ice time for Ylonen tonight. Good for you, Ylo, making the most of it.

Dubious coaching decisions tonight.
Go_Habs_Go31
Jesse Ylonen, who scored 2 even-strength goals tonight, played 7:22 mins (2nd lowest on the team).
Josh Anderson, who’s scored 0 goals in 17 games this season, played 16:44 mins (3rd highest among forwards).

Ylonen would never allow his eyes to be so well protected.

Brutal. Don’t spin it! And it’s not like Anderson was going this game at all.
zzzzoooo
Now, Kovacevic and Lindstrom have scored more or as much as Anderson, Slafkovsky and Caufield (in 5-on-5 situation). As for forwards, Pezzetta, Armia and Dvorak (who has horrible finishing touch) also have as much goal as them. It’s damn frustrating.
What next ? Allen, Monty and Primeau will score as much as Anderson, Slaf and Goalfield (5-on-5). It’s so shameful.

What part of unicorn do you guys not understand.
Don’t you know there’s only like 5 power forwards in the league?
Fans don’t go to the games to see a win, or a team play well or disciplined.
They go to see Big Josh Anderson, and If anything he should be getting MORE ice time.

I really like St-Louis as a coach but those kind of decision start to piss me off, why not use the guys that are hot at the end of the game when we need a fuckng goal my god, I can’t watch another fucking minute of power play with Anderson on the 1st wave

We all love that Marty is a players coach and that he talks to the guys and brings the best out of a lot.
I think this is one of the negatives that comes from being a players coach. He wants to give Anderson every opportunity to get out of his slump. He understands how crappy he feels going through it.

I hate that Josh Anderson is snakebit. I really am and want him to score.
But this is what angers me with coaches generally. Stop putting veterans out there when they’re not performing because you don’t trust that the kids will make a mistake. The game was almost over. C’mon Marty.

Make it make sense.
