Mathews looks like He is trying to Learn how to cover Other Zones but is as Amateur as a Kid.
If the Leafs Concentrate on Nylander and Trade Mathews and Marner for 2 or 3 good Checkers, then the Leafs can Come back and Compete for the Cup.

Poitras and lohrei are both second round picks but had no hype other than in Boston. Bruins fans know how these players did in the juniors years and preseason. Poitras will be a 1-2c and a top 4 of lohrei mcavoy lindholm carlo is very good and young

One point earned for the tie. One point not gained for the shootout. The problem is the third and fourth line so with only two lines capable of scoring, the outcome against Boston was not all that bad.
Marchand does what he wants. The leafs did absolutely nothing. Next shift Reaves should of knocked out 12 of Marchand’s teeth out to send a message . Too bad that garbage ref Wes McClown was the ref. The best officials are the ones that aren’t notice . But this ref thinks he’s the show when he announces a penalty like a drunk clown. Announce the penalties like a professional and not like a drunk clown

This management is not serious about building a winning team.
They will continue to feed the core 4. I am fully expecting the Leafs brass to give Nylander 10 to 11.5 a year and them Marner north of 12 the following year. Why? Ticket sales, jersey sales, and corporate sponsorships. They already make more the enough revenue to care about deep runs, thanks to us dim witted fans.
This team is not getting anywhere of importance, at this point I am just watching the slow train wreck.
Reeves is totally usless as I knew he would, called that signing waste of money from day 1. Bertuzzi should be traded tomorrow for chuckling at Marchant for that cheap play injuring his teammate. Clearly he still thinks he is on the Bruins.

I'm a bruins fan, and I was watching the game, and didn't even see the penalty till now, and yeah ref blew that.
You got to admit he did hide it good like too good and thats scary, and I saw the leg in the air in real time but I didnt see why it was in the air until this morning, but I'm not a ref, and the ref should of saw that, I mean this guy been a ref since early 2000 prolly. I mean wtf, and they should get rid of refs that miss alot, and f the union.
So unfortunate he was injured on the play, and I know Marchand didn't injure him on purpose, but you really got to think what did he think was going to happen when he did that at full speed into the boards.
Marchand is a guy you love on your team, and you really hate when he's on the other team.
