This doesn’t even include playoffs earlier this year. I am hoping he got it all out of his system but also thinking this could be a regular thing on how dynamic of a player he is. Thoughts?

Hes a small dude still growing into his body. Hes very fast and heavily targeted. I wouldnt label him injury prone just yet. I think he will be a much more durable player thru his 20’s and the rest of his career as he fills out. Hes already so much better at avoiding contact then when he started playing. I wouldnt be worried. People get hurt in hockey. Its gunna happen to everyone.
He came into the league playing NTDP style hockey, and clearly has been adjusting. He’ll continue to learn.
Players get injured sometimes.
He’s fragile. And small
He’s small
He needs to hit the weight room and gain 15 or so
My takeaway is that February 7 is apparently a cursed day. This year we face Ross Colton on the 6th. That might be a good game to sign Geertsen to a 1-day contract.
at least 2 of these are from crashing hard into the boards
I think only the one vs Seattle was a legit hockey hit that he got hurt on. The rest were either dirty (knee on knee vs the isles) or a lost edge (vs the blues)
We’re just going to have to pray. He’ll always be amazing. But how much definitely hinges on RNG.
One of those was covid so scratch that at least
Even bratt said on 32 thoughts that Jack is always in the ice and rarely in the gym
Jack has to hit the gym hard and make gaining weight a priority
