that is kind of a cross check plus he sorta punched him minor penalty.
Defenseman is making a play towards the player possessing the puck, then Draisaitl loses possession and gets caught in the neutral zone just after the puck made a weird bounce. If you are skating through the neutral zone on a scrambled/slow break, expect some contact. No penalty, let the boys play

As a kid, you were always taught to follow through with your checks. The puck was in his skates, not as if the puck was nowhere near him and it was a basic shoulder check . It's hockey, expect to be hit.
