The drawing took 88 hours to complete and 100% pencil on paper. We really wanted to capture the sacrifice, passion and brotherhood that went into their amazing playoff run.

How do you get such smooth shading? I’m doing the Bargue plates right now with charcoal and my values are pretty good, but my blending is choppy and I can’t get the extremely subtle gradient transitions that you’re getting. What am I missing??
