As someone with an Economics degree myself, it’s possible he just got a General Degree (3 year program) versus an Honours Degree (4 year degree). Still impressive given it’s a degree from Harvard, but not every University degree is a 4 year program if that’s what you are implying.

He probably did lots of summer school classes, it’s a smart thing to do, most students do internships but he’s going to be playing pro hockey anyways
