  1. I think Edmonton got worst over the off season. Connor Brown and Ryan McLeod are the only additions and they are not as good as the parts they lost. Also, their goaltending is a mess. I wouldn't trust either goalie with a Stanley Cup run.

That said, they are practically a lock for one of top two spots in their division.

  2. Losing Klim hurts…this team needs someone to genuinely surprise i.e. Holloway or Lavoie. They will likely need to fill holes at the deadline.

  3. I predict Campbell has a bounce back season. He ended on a good note filling in the playoff games and ended the year on a better confidence level. He has the skills and it’s more his confidence that has hurt his performance in the past. Past that I see additional moves made before the trade deadline depending on how things are going before that point in time. This team has the potential to win the cup with tweaks to defensive styles of play. They had Vegas minus some bad mistakes in front of their own net. A more stay at home defensive style with less puck chasing could make a big difference in game outcomes. Many of the goals against in the Vegas series were avoidable with this kind of tweak. There was way too much puck chasing that led to Knights players open and not covered near their net. Offence is strong and they had a killer power play. It’s not a lineup issue as much as it’s a change in defensive play that could make the difference for the Oilers.
    LETS GO OILERS‼️

  4. It infuriates me to no end that they have two of the best players on the planet and they can’t put a good roster around them.

  5. They didn't address the D core or goalie situations and didn't really add enough upfront to make up for what they lost. I'm sure they'll be a great reg season team that will fold like a cheap suit when they run into a good team in the playoffs.

  6. Sorry it's not physicality that is our weakness it's play in our own end. This is the year the job gets done

  7. Good job on the analysis plus Brown played with conner in Erie and I saw Brown get a natural hatty that night and McDavid and Fox were huge helpers..keep up the good work.

  8. I wish a longer season to Evander Kane, since his last Buffalo season he plays fewer and fewer games every year, he scores a great amount of goals per games played, but nobody will resign him at a good value if he cant play over half a season once or twice before his contract expires.

And without a lot of other millions, how else could he reimburse what he owes to everyone, considering taxes in Canada ?

  9. I'm an Oilers fan and I don't see any significant movement in the team this year. I wish I could say differently and I hope I'm wrong but there's very little difference in this year's roster from last year's so I don't know where any great improvement is supposed to come from.

  10. No depth?? 😂 jesus christ ive heard it all, 13 players with 10+ goals is not depth?

  11. Edmonton maple leafs… do hope brown gets back healthy. Not sure its a cup team, greatly depends on goaltending. Pacific isnt the easiest division either.
