Alexander Edler. What’s next? Resign with LA? Another team? Retire?

Edler is again still on the free agent market this offseason.

37 years old at this point. He has played 105 games over the past two seasons for the Kings with 5 goals and 25 assists and has been a steady veteran depth presence and has been effective on the PK.

I put a year in review article from the kings.com. It’s a fairly decent synopsis of his last two seasons in LA.

Do we think he resigns in LA? Another team? Or is it getting close to the end for Eagle?

If he were to retire, I would love to see him back with the Canucks in some capacity

On a side note, I wonder if he still has a home and roots in Van. I’m guessing he owned a home there and his kids grew up there

I wonder what kind of career he’d go into after retiring. He always seemed so shy, would he do coaching or scouting?

The real question is: ROH? Honoured by the Canucks in some way?

Still really weird to see Edler in a kings jersey.
