Call me crazy but I totally think Copley can repeat last year's season. He was average and that's all we need. I am not hating on him but it's not like we need him to be a .930 or something. His biggest issue is second shots and rebounds. Our defense in front will be better so I have confidence that he can repeat or be a bit better. That said, I want to get another vet but no big contracts. Go Kings Go.
Omg Eddie, Kings need a goalie that is good enough to win games, unlike quick and Peterson, he, Copley made timing saves to get the W.
Not sure he fits the mold but it is what it is. I’m hoping he’ll do well. We gave up ALOT for him.

Blakey took one hell of a swing to run one of the deepest top 3 centers in the league but he’s also maxed out the credit card.
Still no proven backup or “1A” and little to no wiggle room in the budget. Someone else is gonna have to go this summer to bring in a puck stopper.

The Kings have to also give Turcotte a legit chance to succeed, play him with some skilled players and he will flourish, we all know how good he can be and how he was in his past with the USNTDP and Wisconsin
As a jets fan. I hope this trade works for you guys as well as us. We were in a really shite spot with PLD. Blake really bailed us out, so I hope karma comes around and gets you guys to the western final….when u face us lol

When you watched Durzi play he was really not moving his feet, especially in the playoffs. I would watch him let plays develop in front of him and then he’d try to intervene but by then it was already too late and players could work around him. I’m not bummed about him being let go for a 2nd. I am however disappointed we threw that pick in on top of the other 3 solid players we gave up to Columbus.
To everyone saying we NEED a number 1 goalie , well take that up with Blake because clearly he thought a centre was more important. Looking like were going with Copley at least to a certain extent and considering how solid he was last year and how good the boys played in front of him Im not worried at all.
I'm OK rolling with Copley but obviously we need a back up. Maybe he did not need to make the spectacular save because his positioning was good and perhaps made things look easier. Hopefully that makes sense.
