Hockey announcers are absolutely shameless the way they describe fights. Never mind that a fight might end because a guy steps on an errant stick, the announcer will have you believe that the hometown boy destroyed the opponent with a thunderous, monstrous hook that would have simultaneously put to shame Georges Laraque, Bob Probert, Tony Twist and Dave Kocur. Come on! I am in favor of the hometown announcer making it especially exciting for his boys, but DON'T LIE!
