Matthew Tkachuk was given a two minute minor penalty for cross checking to the back of Garnet Hathaway at the end of a period. Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!
Two bruins on one panther, in comes the equalizer with a cross check to the mid section, probably hit his liver, its all going for shit in the NHL, lawlessness is taking over, the refs are a joke, they stare right at infractions and not call them, if this was the real world of business any company would be up on charges for unsafe practices.
What is Hathaway doing there? Why is he going after Forsling when the period has already ended? He went to stir something up and got what he ordered, if they call Tkachuk they should also call Hathaway for instigating the whole situation.
Compare that with Draisatl's "unsportsmanlike" penalty couple days ago on Doughty. If Drai got a penalty for that, then Matthew should get 2 games for this.
Tkachuk is very talented but at this point he is just a liability for the Panthers. He scored a goal but immediately has it erased with dumb penalties that constantly put his team in bad situations. Trying to take Hathaway out was dumb. Physically attacking Linus Ullmark is just dumb & bad karma.
Good I enjoyed every moment of it, played it over and over for my enjoyment, he deserves every cheap shot and injury that comes his way and I hope there are many more to come, this piece of garbage Hathaway has hurt many players with head shots and stick work, I hope some day soon marchant will get the same
If marchand did this he'd be out for 3 games minimum. Tkachuk has got to get at least 1 for this. It's intentional, forceful, and was 100% aimed to injure. I hope none of the bruins shake his dirty hands at the end of this.

if the first thing a player does is look to see if the official saw it then you know he knows it was intentional. It should be looked at by Players Safety as intent to injure. Not sure Sneaky Matthew wants to seriously tangle with Hathaway, hence the back stabbing cheap shot where the ref will save his ass
The NHL added a 2nd ref years ago and still miss so many calls. This game had a lot of after the whistle crap. Florida knows they're done. As a fan of hockey overall, I wish the league would clean up a lot of this stuff…and Hathaway has his fair share of past exploits but this cross check isn't right.
Dirty rats are make dirty plays….Tkachuk is a dirty rat. His glance at the refs told you everything you need to know about the play. Kid is talented but is a cheap shot dealing dirty rat.
Hathaway and Marchand gave the little extra and unnecessary shove after the period born sounded. Tkachuk simply defending is teammate. Worthy of a penalty, but not a suspension. Boston is far from angelic when it comes to after the whistles antics. Play on!
