He FINALLY got his revenge...

He FINALLY got his revenge…

Cutter Gauthier finally gets revenge and gets his first career win against the Philadelphia Flyers. While the Anaheim Ducks pull off their first comeback win of the season in a wild 5-4 victory! After falling behind 2-0, Leo Carlsson and Gauthier helped spark the comeback, while Jackson LaCombe struggled defensively and the Ducks finally broke their power-play drought after going 0-for-17. Tristan Luneau scored his first goal of the season and recorded a three-point night, while Lukas Dostal and Flyers goalie Joseph Woll both had some questionable moments. Travis Mitchell’s return to the lineup might be the key to Anaheim’s success, as he picked up his first career assist in this game. The Ducks survive a chaotic finish, get revenge against Philly, and head home to face the Vancouver Canucks. 1. LaCombe needs to be sent of vacation for a week, he’s been genuinely Bad and it’s getting hard to watch, I’m the biggest LaCombe supporter too, he’s always blowing through his mouth whenever the camera cuts to him after giving up something.

  2. Small step in the right direction, but they are way below playoff quality, pretty even with Philly who is likely gonna be a lottery team. Lot of time left to get better though.. have to watch their play during the next few weeks to see if this sliver of upward momentum continues.

  3. I wouldn’t really call barely squeaking out one win against a team full of rookies and AHL players, and getting one assist “revenge.” 😅

But hey, enjoy it Ducks fans. You beat an injury depleted team that you also stole their colors from. Prime organization you’ve got there.

  4. Only watched the third. But man oh man, I loved Aaron Cooney's play by play calling. He really got you into the game and excited. There was passion, excitement, calling players the right name, on both teams, and actually keeping up with the play.

  5. Hearing the broadcasters refer to the Philly vs Anaheim beef as a "Heated Rivalry" has some interesting implications….Was very nervous about this game but happy they pulled through. Really brightened my mood for the rest of the day.

  6. The glove dropping first or second is irrelevant and is not the only cause for an instigator. Just like mitchell's instigator earlier in the season, it was the second guy coming in for retaliation but with Greer this time. Happens with teams too, not just the ducks.

I wish Hazy would be less over the top with exaggerating penalties against the ducks.
