Flyers Daily with Jason Myrtetus: Complete breakdown of a Flyers 3rd straight win with a 3-1 Win over the Sabres. Flyers also have scored a power play goal in 3 straight games and Cole Knuble notches his first 2 NHL goals. Also a look inside the numbers and the drastic difference from 6 days ago after the Detroit loss and how that impacts the expectations going forward.

You know seeing Mike Knuble play and then years later his kid pops up reminds me of my age.
Looking at that map, and Lunquist said this too, Flyers have to be better at keeping slots shots down. Buffalo got to the kitchen too but Vladdy was just off the charts.
LFGG FLY GUYS💪🏻 Obvi it’s the guys on the ice but I genuinely think this team got a major spark from your speech Jason…….SCREW IT LETS GET THE CUP🙌🏻😂
8:31😂😂😂 the powerplay being a force to be reckoned with was not something I expected this season
no excuses for forester ..please

Second coming of knuble is here
Boy this kid is a spark plug
Michov got like 18min ice time he was good getting 1 helper
Kids look good
Keep this roster rolling
Only mess with 4rth line
I like to see a 10 game point streak
Getting 6 wins and 4 ot losses at least this get team back on track and i frel season will be like a reset
Great episode
Good to see you looking good
Talkng flyers hockey
Good road win. Now waive Beniot and Bunting.
I've been waiting for the Hunter Macdonald experiment to be over. Nevermind I see the light
It looks like Foerster is the new farabee. He seems so slow out there and afraid to take shots. Without the shot and physicality he’s of little to no value out there
This young group has been so much more effective on pucks. Make the injured guys earn their ice time again. No entitlement here. Just do what works!
No whammies! That brings back memories !
Flyers hit quite a few posts in the first nine games, but last night it was the Sabres turn with two posts in the 2nd period. With that, we kept the momentum. For the MMM, he got to 18+ minutes b/c we only had 3 PKs. On nights where we have to kill 5 PKs, he will be under 15 minutes.
You're spark in your life is a blessing my brother Elbows up from Calgary Go Flyers go ❤
Its not even TyFo’s shooting thats bad, he is skating with bricks under his feet.
The goalie tandem on this team is so good that the Flyers just need to have a 2.80 GPG or so on the season to be a playoff team.
Playing with the heart and will we thought vaporized! Hope is back on the table..
Even if we had lost the last three games, this lineup is actually good to watch. the Stick checks are accurate, the team is playing with confidence, and they are taking quality shots. there are still the odd Zegras "no look" backward pass to oblivion and other really unnecessary plays but the quality of hockey has been so much better. Bonk, Bump, Knuble and McDonald being in the lineup was brought in, what looks like, high energy and a desire to be on the ice. I am finally watching Flyers games again.
Nothing better than sitting down for work and turning this podcast on. Keep fighting Jayson!
Whatever it takes Flyers cannot send these 5 guys back down to LV. These guys bring energy that fight for puck possession both ends of the ice. This Flyers team right now can give us a chance. They are hungry with speed. The evaluation of who stays and goes on the team prior to the start needs to be looked at. These 5 guys can play. The injuries was a blessing in a way.
Great to see Vladar have a good game after a slow start to the year. This goalie tandem is going to be nice.
The sun is shining brighter!
hunter mcdonald seems like a future seeler replacement kind of guy? like when they eventually decide to trade seeler.
and jiricek looks better next to him than anyone else they've paired him with, like they could be a decent third pair (i think they played together in lehigh at the end of last season, so there was already some chemistry there)
I look forward to certain things. 1:Flyers games 2: your commentary on said Flyers.
Keep fighting!
Bonk looks better than Sanheim at same stage in career.
If you discount the Pittsburg game, Vladar's GAA goes up to 2.38, which puts him 19th overall right behind Adin Hill at 2.21. His Sv% goes up to .921, which puts him 9th overall, right behind Casey DeSmith at .925. Keep in mind he also had an uncharacteristically bad game against Boston, with a SV% of only .844. In his last three games his Sv% is .952, and his GAA is 1.30, which puts him right up there with the top two goalies in the league with Ullmark and Oettinger. If he can sustain the kind of performance from the last three games, he's absolutely in the discussion for the Vezina this year.
You're an inspiration and the reason they are playing so well lately.
Love how the young guys are playing, they've clearly energized the team, and helped build the winning streak that's turning things around!
