Garcia also unpacks the Jonathan Quick trade controversy, the franchise’s playoff drought, and rising frustration over prospects like Alex Turcotte. 4. When Fiala gets back, more than 1/8 of the season will be gone. He will be cleared to play but will need 10-15 games to get back to full capability. That means 1/4 of the season will be gone. And we already know that even with Fiala playing on previous Kings teams with arguably better talent, why were those Kings teams not successful? Fiala is a very talented player with crazy skills. He is also very fan centric and he always interacts with the fans and does community events. All of that said, he is not a player to take a team on his back and carry them to a Cup. Thanks Eddie for being real reference Fialas return.

  5. Sad to hear you acknowledge that there's nobody in Ontario that is going to help the LAKings. You're not wrong, which is why the Kings need to admit that a rebuild is necessary, because they aren't going to build a winner through trades or free agency.

  6. Panarin – ??? – Kempe

    Fiala – ??? – Laffy

    Moore – Laughton – ???

    ??? – Helenius – ???

    Clarke – ???

    Anderson – ???

    ??? – ???

    Portillo? George? Slukynsky?

That's the 'core'. Anyone not on that list should go, which means lots of holes to fill. But also there's some decent trade bait for either picks, prospects or players. Whomever the Kings get to fill those holes should not be older than 30. Hopefully prospects/AHLers like Hermansson, Lefebvre, Booth, Connors, Lombardi pan out.

  8. I find it bizarre that a SHARKS fan would ask a Kings fan why he doesn't switch teams. Perhaps he's a front-runner who just started following the Sharks last year? To me, such people don't deserve to be called fans. Followers, maybe.

  10. Not only they depleted the defensive depth of the organization over the years and had questionable moves related to frwds but they also let go of Marco Sturm who is doing swell job in Boston for 2nd year a row. Simply put, this organization is a hot mess as evidenced by current standings.

  12. Quick is a very stand off type person out in public when not at a kings event well that was before the trade so now i would probably avoid him lol anyways the fans appreciate what he did but not sure how much he cares tried to thank him once but never again to be fair thats people some are just sour thats him. Greatest goalie we will ever have 2012 was the best performance ive ever seen without the oversize pads like JS had haha
