Luckily Garand didn't get picked up by waivers. I freaked out when he wasn't just signed after his 3 games last year. So far Garand looks like a very promising temporary replacement.

trading for Hellebuyck is a bit unrealistic, the Jets would want roster players. Rangers aren't there yet.
