  1. Binner didn't look good at all against the Avs,he made some really bad decisions. Despite that,I still believe they need to hang on to him. He is still serviceable as the backup,if he wants to remain with the team.

  5. If anyone that watched this game thinks the goaltending was the problem, they clearly don't understand how hockey works. This team looked like they were skating in mud. If this was a baseball score and Binnington was the pitcher, he'd only have 3 earned runs. That's being generous to the rest of the team.

  7. He DID play top line minutes, and while I can’t confirm more time, on at least 1 PP, HE was the Dman on the ice. Monty already trusts the kid, and that bodes well for him. He’s looked pretty great, absolutely hate that Bucky was offside and Jiricek’s goal was disallowed.

  8. 50 had a few bad moments in the game no doubt. But it would have been 6-0 in the 1st period if not for him. The team played like crap in front of him. He and the team needs to be better if we want to make the playoffs. LGB

  9. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the franchise is a joke. Binnington is not the only problem it goes up and down and around and abound.
Hofer is the man. Sadly we have a few parts and tools but this team is never winning a playoff series with Montgomery. As soon as he gets fired, he will be hired and coach a way better team and franchise.

  10. It was always going to be a bad game Saturday. Binner will be fine and maybe get 45 % of the games. Not sure Hof would have done any better when the team was so flat footed

  11. They have already taken Jiri off pair with Broby and got about 16min on ice time. He had some oppsies and still needs protection, but he is getting PP2 time because we need RHD with all the Left shot forwards. Since Maizy has to clear waivers (and will automatically get claimed) Jiri will have to go back to AHL. The one I am worried about is Tucker…

  12. Binnington will be just fine. He’s been around long enough to know when the Blues are getting their asses handed to them. Colorado is a juggernaut right now and will probably end up the number one seed again. I’m happy with a split with back to back, on the road with two of the top teams in the league. LGB!

  13. Trade Binnington as soon as possible. Let him go somewhere where he will have an opportunity to find his game again and we will all eventually see he isn't the issue. I think Binner feels burnt here now. It's a shame. He was pretty much the ENTIRE reason we won the Cup in '19. And with all the props going to Hofer, I don't see him being that kind of difference maker.
