10. I hate this trade proposal for Detroit. Cutter is a Me First dude, what if he arrives in Detroit and wants no part in a team that hasn't been in the playoffs in a decade? Also, giving up one of their 2 young D is ridiculous. Most importantly, what good is having a young winger if you have NOTHING down the middle? Makes no sense.

11. The Red Wings #2 center Copp had a “great year” last year with an astounding 9 goals 🤌🏻. Yeah we need a top left wing but we have absolutely zero top center depth. Hence why the report was we wanted a center in return.

14. Gauthier is a really good young player, but other GMs beware at this point. He’s already forced a trade before playing a single game for Philly, now holding Anaheim hostage. If Anaheim must dump three guys just to keep him, I could see him being unpopular with his teammates. Wings might covet the talent, but could be culture cancer.

Neither should be able to choose their destination by having a NMC and demanding a trade. Next CBA should have a clause that forcing a trade should void your NMC or at least force players to submit a 10 team trade list

17. Illitch wouldn't pay Robertson so why would he pay Gauthier even more? That trade isn't happening. Larkin can either sit or play and honor the contract he signed.

20. Mike, Dubas has the assests to pull off a trade for Gauthier. You don't believe a package of say Rakell, a prospect, and a pick or Rakell and 2 prospects or Rakell, Braz, a prospect would do it or something close to that then I believe you don't understand how much the Pens truly have.

26. I think the Red Wings and Columbus should make a trade Larkin for Marchenko. Columbus and Detroit are borderline in a similar situation. Larkin could play with Werenski, a fellow team USA guy. Larkin is locked up long term at based off these new contracts coming out is a steal. Marchenko needs a new contract, and it looks like it will be bigger than Larkins contract. Detroit has always been a Euro happy land, with the Russian five, Datsyuk and Zetterberg. Marchenko goes to a team with guys like Seider and Raymond. Columbus still has to sign Fantilli, so there isn’t gonna be enough money to give Marchenko the money he is gonna ask. So Larkin gets to play with Werenski and gives the center depth Columbus can only fantasize about. Detroit gets another prolific goal scorer expecting a significant pay raise.

27. It’s too late for Quinn Hughes in Minnesota. Guerin tried to get Luke Hughes, cause he knew what was gonna happen. If Guerin makes a trade for Larkin, he will have killed Minnesota.

30. Who would The Detroit Red Wings want from Minnesota, if this deal with The Wild is going to be made? That's the question. I'm not sure that A New GM will want some of the players that Minnesota is willing to give up. Please let me know what you think

33. No one knows how the new DRW GM will act, but Yzerman would never send Larkin to Minny. Yzer man knows that is where Larkin wants to go. And just for spite he would never trade Larkin to Minny. Let's hope the new GM will not let Larkin get his wish. Remove the C from his sweater, sit him in the press box until he expands his trade destinations. DRW fans will boo him relentlessly.
