Kings fans will always have love for Dewey but it's about time to hang em up. Make the call and have a great swan song. Get out there on the links with Kopi and enjoy retirement! GKG!
Are we kidding? He should’ve retired last year! We are becoming a retirement home for the NHL,
Eddie, thanks for pointing out so many interesting subjects. regarding Drew Doughty, I thank him with all my heart for his efforts and for helping to finally bring us the Stanley Cup. I will never forget he is the only player who ever said he wanted to be drafted by/come to play in L.A. i will never forget him for his words. But, with that said, he got more than enough money and it became a part of his ego as an L.A. player. With that in mind, it's time for him to go. in fact, i doubt he'd even take a hometown discount. He's gotten greedy/selfish and just wants to load up on L.A. cash. in fact, I'll bet he joins Dustin Brown and Jonathan Quick moving back east. I'm sick to death of L.A. Kings taking California money and moving away. That's how it used to be and is probably why few even bother to try remembering former players. That…I get completely. And it is why I still look back fondly on Eddie Joyal-died in San Diego and Ross Lonsbury-died in Santa Clarita. they were a part of our first great scoring lines. I've always tried to show sentimentality towards older players. But that doesn't include people who use the Kings for enrichment. I think the bread man is our best current investment. And we might actually have a few homegrown talents to last through this decade. For me, that would be exciting. Regarding Drew, to all those potentially great Kings "d" men the Kings flushed, I don't even want to hear about Doughty any more. He got his hundred million and can live like a King for the rest of his life. p.s. I absolutely do not believe in salaries continuing to rise. But, with that in mind, Marcel Dionne ended up buying a…what was it…laundrymat or car wash…but in Detroit with all his money. I don't see today's million players deserving more than Marcel.
