10 SECOND TUBES | Ethan Ewing, Molly Picklum, Morgan Cibilic & Liam O’Brien

Sometimes the best mid-season training involves a last-minute flight to Fiji.

Over the past month, two separate strike missions scored at Cloudbreak, with Australia’s CT contingent finding themselves in the right place at exactly the right time as part of Surfing Australia’s High Performance Program.

Led by Surfing Australia High Performance Coach Nathan Hedge, Ethan Ewing, Morgan Cibilic, Molly Picklum and Liam O’Brien made the Pacific pilgrimage, arriving to a Cloudbreak forecast that delivered exactly what they came for: a high-performance playground to sharpen their tools ahead of competition.

Our crew was there to capture every session, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what high-performance preparation really looks like when the charts light up.

The result? A week of long days in the lineup, heavy water, ruler-edge walls and barrels measured in seconds. Among the highlights was a tube ride stretching an incredible 10+ seconds.

A huge thank you to the team at Tavarua Island Resort for their incredible hospitality throughout the trip.
