Sabres have TOO MANY forwards with Krebs deal?!? w/ Paul Hamilton | The Jeremy and Joe Show

Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase are joined by Buffalo Sabres beat reporter Paul Hamilton for a discussion about the Sabres extending F Peyton Krebs to a 4-year $18M contract with a $4.5M AAV. The guys discuss the value Krebs brings to the lineup as a true utility player that can play anywhere in the lineup. They also discuss the Sabres strategy locking down a few of their depth players, and how this could help them moving forward.

  1. There’s not one video or radio interview that Paul Hamilton does where he doesn’t mention trading Ryan McLeod cause he thinks Ryan McLeod is the worst player in the history of the league and he wants to get rid of them probably because he went to interview and McLeod’s again not right now

  2. When he says that Greenway was like the best penalty killer in the league or one of the best, I just laughed so fall on my chair the Sabres penalty was never good or even close as a matter of fact, they were like last place the last five teams, the worst teams in the league when he was the main penalty killer then when Chuck and McLeod went to the PK the first two guys we went from the bottom of the league to the top league in Greenwood was hurt as usual

  3. Too many Fs? What are you talking about?

Last year BUF played 21 Fs.
    2024-25: 20 Fs.
    2023-24: 21Fs
    2022-23: 18Fs

And calling Krebs a "4th liner" is beyond ridiculous. He also played on the 1st line. He played the 6th most minutes among Fs last year on the team.
