I'm a Flyers fan and heartily approve of Briere's attempt to fill one of the Flyer's highest needs. However Anaheim's cap space is only $9M and there are eight players (I think) to sign, and then the Ducks need to replace all three of the RD's who were traded or let go. That hole is way more than $9M will fill and the rumors of Vatrano and Kreider getting shipped to Pittsburgh to make some more room. That is the "tough spot" that really will impact the chances of Anaheim getting back in the playoffs. Note*** The cap rises $7.5M next year and $8.5M in 27-28 so there will be some relief for Anaheim after two years.
