  1. For god sakes Brian get yourself a better headset or microphone your audio sounds you’re in a box or bag its very “muddy” sorry you are important to listen to when you speak it has to be crisp and clear like Molly’s audio is

  2. Outside of Dorofeyev, Drury didnt add winning players. Korpisalo is a bum, he gave up draft picks for and now pays him better than every other backup in the league. Bjorkstrand is a career -50 player, punching above his weight class in a top 6 role. Peterson is coming from the worst team in the NHL and widely considered a cupcake. Draw it all out on paper, how is this team better in 2026? There's no amount of special sauce Miracle Mike Sullivan can pour on this. This is nowhere near a playoff contender.

  3. A trade proposal…Lafreniere and a first round pick for Gauthier…Kid is 22 and a proven stud…They get Laffy, a young, good player at a 7.45 AAV with 5 years of term…That contract will age well as the cap goes up annually…They will be paying for a player still in in his 20's…Then they can fit with Carlsson's contract and save about 5 million per year compared to what Gauthier will command…They can roll that money over for Sennecke…The Rangers move Schneider to create the cap space…With Dorofeyev, Gauthier, our revamped defense and a world class goalie we would be contenders!!..
    Thoughts?

  4. Durzi may be a stretch playing as a 2nd pair D. He's only been a plus player once in his career & he only played 30 games that season. Unless guys like Greentree, Beaudoin, Lamb, Smits make the team out of training camp, Bjorkstrand & Veleno will be nothing but 'placeholders' till the trade deadline, same for Pettersson. Schneider was given a 'golden' opportunity last season when Fox was injured & he totally flopped. It is time move on from Schneider, sorry Mollie. Korpisalo? Why? He's not an NHL goalie at this point in time. Kudos for acquiring Dorofeyov, Smits & Beaudoin, other than that we shall see. Rangers will probably struggle to get a playoff slot.

  5. Put the two trades they made with Boston together and the Rangers don’t come out too badly. Traded away Borgen’s cap hit for a smaller one in Korpisalo, and got some draft picks. The goaltending situation will figure itself out.

  6. Drury and Sullivan have more players who fit their model. There are holes, but with healthy players—–they should be very competitive. Igor, when he's right, keeps them in games. Fox keeps the PP running. 5 on 5 scoring??? That's the rub. Can't abide the Schneider scorn. He played with a torn shoulder. He switched sides—–when needed. He moved up, in D pairings, because there was an injury crisis. By all reports, he's a good guy. Let's see how he plays with a good partner-when healthy. He didn't become a bum; let him grow. This team needs a relentless forecheck. No space. No time for opponents. Roll 4 lines and 3 pairs. Thanks. Enjoy your few weeks of vacay? Cape, White Mountains, costal ME, wherever…

  7. Anyone defending the Korposalo trade either works for the organization or is incredibly dumb. To give up anything for Korposalo beyond Future Considerations is too much. Such an awful awful trade for multiple reasons.

  8. The team tanked when Fox and Shesterkin went down to injury. Korpisalo and Durzi are insurance policies. Hoping tht Beaudoin is as advertised. Let's see how they utilize Dorofeyev. The league is ridiculously even. Guess we will see how these moves play out

  9. Only reason people mad about Korpisalo being here is it could cost the team Garand through waivers under certain circumstances and if that happens then it was a bad move. Garand already the better goalie.
