  1. Malholtra is here. Next move Sami Salo will be in Abby I am not sure what will be his job. He was a coach in Findland. Looks like fans will be more happy. Burrows migth be here also.

  2. EP40 has been through a lot personally in the last few years. We've seen plenty of skilled players go through struggles with their mental health and it's hurt their careers significantly. Some have lost their lives, like Rick Rypien. Jonathan Drouin stands out as someone who might have had quite a good NHL career if he'd gotten the help he needed sooner. You just don't know what a person is going through and it doesn't seem to matter how much money they're making. He got paid, like every other player now, based on a couple of excellent seasons and clearly something happened to break him mentally. Hopefully, Manny and the Sedins can get through to him that this is a safe space now and he can air out his struggles and get past them and be a better player. To his credit, most players in his situation act out and demand a trade. He hasn't. He'll get paid whether he plays here or not, so he obviously has good intentions. He just has to have people who believe in him and can help him get through whatever he's dealing with. Losing a kid alone is rough. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out after he's retired that there was a serious issue here that the team didn't know about or didn't care about. Hopefully, this new group will be able to bring back the culture of comradery that existed in 2011, so he feels comfortable going forward being himself and playing his game.

  3. Hard to believe EP40 does not get along much with the Sedins. That should have been a huge red flag when a player doesn't want to pick Henrik's or Daniel's brains to improve his game.

  4. EP40 "skates on his own rink" – he doesn't come across as most other competitive athletes – Rutherford's biggest mistake was overruling others and signing this guy

  5. Manny is very obviously a player's coach, I think the players are gonna love him. He strikes me as a Alain Vigneaut-type of coach in terms of personality…

  6. Out of nine seasons in existence, the knights have only missed the playoffs once. The other seasons they have been in the finals three times and won the Stanley cup once. Possibly twice if they win this series.
Then there is the sad sack canucks……
    Absolute garbage management and coaching.
You could swap the entire knights team with the canucks, and within two years they would be schitt.
Canucks are their own worst enemy.
    Extremely uncompetitive.
