4. I would actually offer hronex kudryatsev and the 24th oa pick to the sharks for pick number 2 oa and keep the 3rd oa aswell then pick stenberg and chase reid personally.

10. I think Dallas says no. Dallas needs more for Richardson than Hronek and Chicago would need to give up more than only the #4 pick. Maybe Chicago also send Teravainen (at 50% retained).

12. i dont see any universe where a veteran GM like Nil would agree to essentially give away a top scorer in the league for an older D man locked up or not who appears to be regressing, and a mid to bottom 6 dude with almost no Off upside regardless of his Defensive upside. Hroneks not coming close to 40-50 goals maybe not even total points. Nil laughs then hangs up the phone.

13. Pretty sure the Blackhawks can’t be disciplined… they wouldn’t be the team breaking policy. Any OTHER teams reaching out to Mikheyev (regardless what the hawks said he could or could not do) would be the ones in violation of tampering rules if they agreed to talk.

15. I always love watching your channel but I want to push back a bit on the use of the Canucks 3rd overall and potentially getting 4th overall. The cap hits for the two older players is fine.

    I would draft Chase Reid. If San Jose takes Reid then we take Stenberg and Carson Carels. I am not entirely convinced Malhotra is what we need he may only be a 2C which Rossi is and Cootes may try to compete for. Caleb had a great year on a good team only one trailblazing year. We can take two Dmen or a winger and Dmen.

    One thing I really want your opinion is can the Canucks take this good deal and say to the San Jose Sharks we have 4th overall for Hronek and willing to take two bad contracts for $9.5M. Would they like Hronek and Goodrow & Orlov contracts to let them cap dump and we can sweeten it a bit more. That gives them Hronek and $10M of cap relief. We can add Gaudette to bring the cap relief to $12M. Is this worth pitching to get 2nd overall instead?
