  1. I was at the Vegas game on January 25th. I made a statement to my friend that Ottawa is starting on a new winning streak and are going to the playoff! This reminded me when I went to the game where Lehner got hurt and the Hamburgler showed up. I haven't been to a game until last year. The reason the Sens are making the playoff is really simple: I show up to the game!

  2. turning point for me came very late: to see how they kept on pushing with almost all of the defense gone. that showed how tight this group is. just saying „next man up“ is one thing, but really doing it gives you a lot of strength, believe and determination.

  3. vegas win 100% i didn’t even wanna watch that game… honestly i kept telling myself “this is the final straw if they lose” and kept watching… that game was the legit like if they lose im not gonna do this to myself every other night… but they got it done and what a beautiful game… then TG speech after was mint. don’t think i could’ve handled another “lots
to like about our game tonight”… tsn turning point for sure vegas game end of jan.

  4. The win against Detroit. I was at the game against rangers with a friend who was not a Sens fan and after the game he said he was going to hammer the money line for Detroit. They had no business winning that game.

  5. On January 24th, I remember exactly where I was standing the moment Pillzy pushed the button… I was shoveling snow at the time. The night is always darkest before the dawn.

  6. We all know Timmy is a superstar but he hit another level this season and should get a shout out. Haven't seen someone carry the puck like that since the Alfie days.

  7. Vegas was the turning point. I was so, so frustrated up until that point. I genuinely thought we could end up with the first overall and not be able to actually use it. Structure, goalies, PK. Like a completely different team since Vegas. Proud of the fellas.

  8. I knew when we beat Vegas in Vegas, we were making the playoffs and I never doubt it from that point on the team is too good. All we needed was some average goaltending. NAILS!!!

  9. I feel like a lot of people are missing the turning point of the season, outside of Pillzy pressing the panic button. The most underrated acquisition of the season…but getting Reimer completely turned things around! I mean…they tried Merilainen, Sogaard, Shepard..they were going nowhere! I remember the postcast when Ross was laughing at Shepard in nets, looking so small, and kept saying ‘Look at this!!!’ 🤣 Dude looked like a toad in front of a soccer net. But as soon as Reimer got here, we got what we wanted all along…average goaltending. That’s what Reimer gave them, it stopped the goalie carousel and then Ullmark came back and got hot!

For me, Optimus Reims is the saviour of the season! Go Sens Go, we gonna dance for a long time!!

  10. I think I’m going to with the consensus, that being the goaltending. Between the addition of James Reimer and Linus Ullmark’s rejuvenating performances after his return really solidified a playoff contention for this club. Keep it going boys…GSG!

  11. Cant wait to get a playoff towel if ully stays his vesina self and the guys are playing as good as they have been we could beat anybody ully needs to stay eye of the tiger guys been phenomenal showing us why he won the vesina ullmarks going to shine dude whatever you had to do to help yourself it worked definately a different man more focused the confidence when he catches the puck go ully go go ully go WE BELIEVE IN YOU!

  12. Turning point for me was Ullmark’s first game back against the devils. Last home game before the olympic break and I knew we’d be coming back from it looking good.

  13. I gotta take a moment to talk about the garbage 2 point system the NHL uses… Washington deserved to make it this year; +18 and 36 regulation wins with a game left and they are eliminated by Philly with 26 regulation wins. They need to switch to 3 pts for regulation win like they use in IIHF and PWHL. It's just straight bad for the playoffs to have strong 5v5 teams left out in favor for teams that are good 3v3 in OT or SO when those don't even exist in the playoffs!
Ottawa would have been much higher in the standings also!

  14. The turning point was Detroit losing to the Devils so the Sens could clinch. Call me pessimisstic but I am not calling the playoffs until we were in. You are not putting that bad ju-ju on me if we missed

  15. Can we also talk about the fact that Drake Batherson has now tied the record for most consecutive seasons improving his point total at 8? He has done so since the beginning of his career 🙌
