Come on guys, goaltending wins championships. We desperately need to get another goalie. I like Sam Errson too, great guy but not a great goalie – time to move on and improve the goalie position if we want to win the Stanley Cup. It's business – not personal – trade Errson to a Western Conference team and wish him well. But we need a more consistent and reliable back up. (Also need to put some pressure on Danny to get that done.)
Hockey players dont ever want blame an injury for their poor performance.
Jordan Davis was getting in the best shape of his life for 3 years AFTER he was drafted at 22 years old. Everyone is on their own journey. Doesn't seem like michkov will need 3 seasons to figure out how to take care of himself.

Why is Bill busting on the Coyle deal? We sign Coots at 28 to 8 years, and he was shot at 29. Coyle, at 34, had 58 points (20 goals, 38 assists) in 82 games with the Blue Jackets this season! You telling me you wouldn't trade Coots for Coyle right now? Love Coots and he is great at defense, but Coyle can still score, skate, and play heads-up center, at 34. The Blues, barring injury, will get more good years out of Coyle's contract than we get out of Coot's contract!

My favorite part was Bill questioning if the Captain's acceptance of a new role really constituted heroism.
And "They decided they would like to have a little more speed," was my favorite quote from the GM.
So they played all those injured players and sat out Michkov, who was perfectly healthy. hummmmm… 🤔
