  1. McDavid really gonna drag this B-team to another cup final loss. Firmly believe McDavid is gonna have the next Raymond Bourque x Joe Sakic moment.

  2. My wife’s starting to get into hockey and we watched this game and before the game started, I told her that Connor McDavid is considered the best active player on ice. She was convinced after the 2nd period 😂 McDavid is so good

  3. He had 5 points about half way through the game. I was hoping Daryll Sittler's 10 point game record might be on the table.

  4. MVP! If the Oilers win the Pacific Division and he wins the Art Ross, he should be MVP!

  5. the people that said kucherov is better just being proven wrong night after night. There will never be another mcdavid

  6. Man this dude is the best of the best , great attitude and teammate , always the first one in the shower and last one out.

  7. Against San Jose and possibly the worst goalie in the NHL today in Nedeljokovic. What did you expect… You act like he’s the only player that’s ever had a 5 point game before. Never “news” when MacKinnon or Kucherov does it, which both have done multiple times apiece this season, only when HE does it and it pushes the McMedia’s narrative. What a joke. Any star should light them tf up when Nedel is in the net. He’s flat out awful.

  8. There's this joke we used to say about the Flames back in the day: What do the Flames and a training bra have in common? All support, no cup. This seems appropriate for McDavid.

  9. Ridiculous title for this post. McDavid did not steal the spotlight: it was his already; it is still his now; it will continue to be his. Those who do not enjoy watching him play are not hockey fans. You don’t need to be an Oilers fan to appreciate greatness. This is not meant as a slight against Celebrini, Schaeffer, Bedard, Caufield, or any of the extremely gifted young players who come into the league every year. I just wish they all played on my team. (None of them do)
