I think Tippet might be just as fast as McDavid. Maybe faster. The only reason McDavid might edge him out is because he can skate full speed and do everything else at the same time. Tip is great. But, he's not as skilled as McDavid so he can't go full speed while deking like McDavid can. But in a race with no checkers and no puck, I think it would closer than most people would guess.
