I went to the Buffalo Sabres’ first playoff game in 15 years!

For the first time since 2011, the Buffalo Sabres are BACK in the playoffs… And we just couldn’t miss their opening game. Jesse and Rizki made the trip down to Buffalo to take in a truly memorable day of hockey in the city. From eating chicken wings to screaming their hearts out, the fellas did it all on Sunday. And as you probably know by now… Game 1 between the Sabres and Bruins had one of the wildest finishes we’ve ever seen! So, take in this road trip and enjoy nonstop action from one of the NHL’s best cities!

    Lifelong B's fan here since 1970, but stick salute to the Sabres and their fans for a great comeback. You can have two more, but that 3rd one, nah!

    I’ve been to that chicken wing place. The wings are awesome and I brought home a few bottles of sauce. That was a hell of a game.

    My son played at that arena too. He played for Wyoming Seminary from Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania. Andrew Peters was the coach of the other team from the Buffalo area. Big guy with huge hands but he was an awesome person. I got to chat with him for a while.

    We were there!!! It was incredible!! The building was shaking when Sabres went up 3-2. I have not heard the chant OOO AAA Sabres on the warpath!!!! In years!! We appreciate you coming to Buffalo from Winnipeg and checking out the city. As a fellow Canadian (from Welland), I live in the WNY since early 80’s, and been attending Sabres games since they started. As a long time season ticket holder, this year has been rewarding. We have been thru a lot of ups and downs but our love for our team has never wavered.

    This game was insane… I was home here in Detroit. (I know, NO playoffs for us again) but watching this game was great with the 3rd. period comeback and the crowd going crazy everytime they would score. I'm a Sabres fan the rest of the playoffs – Go BUFFALO

    Every time I cross the border to see a Sabres game, I’m impressed with the fans and atmosphere. Buffalo is a cold, miserable, working class city, which IMO is what real hockey towns should be. I hope they win the whole fucking thing.

    Leafs fan, but that Sabres fan base is incredible and look like some of the funnest people to hang out with. That Arena is only get louder the further they get in the playoffs.
