It feels like a lot of people are forgetting how young Simon still is, this was only his second full season in the NHL. The mistakes are frustrating, but those are the kinds of things that can be ironed out. His overall play is great.
the reason this team keeps wiping out coaches/rosters & failing is because they're trying to build on a weak foundation. Larkin is not a leader or captain material at all. Trade that clown and start a proper rebuild
Can we put our press in the hot seat now and ask them questions?
Do you think your questions represent great journalism?
Why aren’t there a new press people it’s 2026 like shouldn’t there be new young kids starting their career in sports journalism leading this room right now?
"I just want this to be dealt with and never be in this position again"….THAT is what I like to hear. At least when he says he will get his body stronger in the off season to prevent injury, I believe him.
He gave the best statement on what this team needs to do better. Every championship team finishes their checks. I remember when the wings were competing for a cup and one of the other coaches publicly complained about the clutching and grabbing that the wings did. You can't get away with it today like you could back then but the best teams get in the way and lean on the opposition and the wings never do that. They let the other team skate in full speed and set up.

He wasn’t great after coming back from the injury
A lot of mistakes and issues
They need to do a retool or rebuild again
Excuses for being a pvssy. Amazing how Copp and Larkin had knee injuries and took hits and delivered hits, but this guy folds every time.
Simon's such a genuine dude. His answer about the contract was perfect.
This guy gets too much heat. Same with Mo, remove both from the team and every night would be a blow out loss. Yall are going after the wrong players

He was wearing a shoulder brace in some of the post game interviews. His health was not close to 100%.
Honest answers, thanks Ed. Hope you'll improve even more next year. Hope you can learn Axel what you've learned!

Wasn't nearly as good when he came back from minor knee surgery which was to be expected but was still disappointing
This guy is a future Red Wing all-time great if he can be healthy. Love his smile in the face of chirping. Got some O skills, too.
Go Wings!
If Simon and Mo could have a baby, #5 might have to step aside.

Bring back Ken Holland.
Yzerman has failed.
Media:" Er ah I think I have a question here, but not sure..Can you just say something?"
Can you repeat that? Media: I really don't think I could.
nice to hear from a red wing. maybe a pulse in there. keeper.

Wonderful hockey player. Keep going man, full support
Simon also giving the answer about being harder to play against and finishing checks. DID YOU HEAR THAT FORWARDS?
