We should also give props to Taylor Hall, Jackson Blake, Shayne Gostisbehere, and Brandon Bussi. While Hall is not the elite player he once was, he's still a solid 2 or 3 liner. Plus, he still has the smarts to set up goalies to get a sneaky goal. Blake really came into his own this season. His growth continues and he had great chemistry with Hall. Gostisbehere still is the best at quarterbacking the Power Play. He can even get a spot goal here and there. Bussi was a revelation for Carolina. Yes, he did have a minor slump a few weeks ago, but he has played better over the last couple of weeks. I think there should be a platoon in goal for the 'Canes in the playoffs. Both Bussi and Andersen should play. This will undoubtedly be Andersen's last year with Carolina, so Bussi needs playoff experience to carry over into next season and beyond. Bussi and Kochetkov (when both are healthy) should be an excellent goalie duo for years to come.
I really don’t think that anybody on the team would take you guys seriously in giving grades as they all still know that this is a redneck hockey market in that you don’t know much about hockey despite sounding like you do
Aho needs to get to the 95-100 point range to get an A
Buss was on point.
Hall has done a great job with Blake, and Stank. You could see they got better when they got put with him. I think he likes the mentor role a little bit.
