  1. These lines just cannot pass or hold on to the puck consistently.. Too many puck dumps!!

  2. This is the first time I've seen your show, and I really liked it. Your remarks were very spot on. I have always been a Red Wing fan and always will be, especially since I'm from Michigan. My son played hockey and we began to love the game. We were at one of the games when Stevie Y, first started playing with the Red Wings, so we go back a long time. One thing I might add is that Finnie scored a lot more in the beginning of the season. I still like him and Kasper though. Keep up the great work. Another long summer.

  3. The Wings play soft. You had to win one game to stay alive, and they come out flat with no physical presence and sloppy play. If they played like this in the playoffs it is 3 and done.

  4. I would've sent Ras and Compher up there with Artemis II and told them to drop them off on the moon.
    GET OUT 😂

  5. Tanguay needs to GO. I’ve been saying this all year. That should be near the top in priority…he’s responsible for a lot of their hideous play creativity and execution.

  6. We need a Super- Aggressive Power Forward that scores first, especially in the first period. This means spending BIG $$$, and then go after an experienced Brick Wall defenseman to protect the lead. We smashed the Flyers after we scored first, and we absolutely suck chasing goals, especially 5 vs 5. Just not enough Full Rink Hustle. Also not supporting break outs, 1 man breaks free, and the rest stop an wish "good luck". CULTURE is too lax, needs a grizzled HARD-MAN to lead them.

  7. Pens fan, Darren helm was one of my favorite players to watch. Sooo fast and just a good 200ft 3rd liner

  8. You think Alex Tanguay hockey is a rough watch… go watch a game of The Leafs. Berube hockey is a nightmare.

  9. It is not nice, but this is how I see it. The Ilitch family don't know how to run a hockey team. Mr. I took a gamble and drafted those Russian players. No one knew if they would even be allowed to stay in America. Before the Russian players came, the Red Wings were known as the dead things. The Russian players prospered and the Red Wings won their Stanley Cups. Then the Russian players aged out and the Red Wings seem to have become the dead things again.

  10. Spot on, great assessment. I think Steve is kind of stuck in two places. He's not supporting Larkin and DeBrincat at their peek, because he doesn't want to shed the prospects to do it and they're not developing fast enough. Do you wanna win with Larkin or with the prospects, which is it? You can't do both, you gotta take a swing. The old, slow guys need to go. If you're gonna lose anyway, develop the young guys. Stop riding goalies into the ground, honestly! Use COSSA! I feel bad for Talbot, he was their #1 last year. The dude hardly got any games because they were so busy running Gibson into the ground, so it's small wonder he was cold and leaky when he finally stepped in.

  11. Nevermind 5V5. We can’t defend a lead ever. Couldn’t defend a lead late in a game if our life depended on it. So many collapses.

  12. How about an AI Gordie H. ? NHL is Rigged . Sports are Rigged . Entertainment . Isn´t that on the back of the Tickets ? Entertainment .

  13. Don´t be Surprised if the Pistons do a Lion and Looose . dan de lions , weed without THC , what cha wa´ont ? haha NO GOOD ! Giving streach Cunningham a break , so he don´t get hurt .

  14. I think the mental issue is exactly what the problem is, and it comes from exhaustion on the top four players carrying the scoring load, frustration from the young players not scoring or providing secondary scoring, and finally bottom players not carrying enough because their not getting the ice time.

  15. Yzermsn biggest flop was drafting cossa over wallstredt even at the draft try were shocked. Gibson plays less games helps in long run

  16. In my opinion, this season's collapse was not an Yzerman or McLellan failure. I that that as someone who has been hyper critical of the Yzerplan. This was a player failure. we were battling with Carolina for Conference leader most of the season before the olympics. This collapse was a motivation issue. motivation comes from the Captain. As for Kasper, i actually like Finnie a lot more than Kasper. Faulk was a great pickup, but now that we are not in the playoffs it was a disaster knowing we traded our 1 draft pick. I cannot stand Patrick Kane. he is the laziest guy on the ice at any given time. he does not forecheck and has no idea how to back check. he has points but if he played with even half of the intensity as other guys his age like Crosby, Perry, Staal, his points would be doubled and we would have won many of those close games and we would have a wild card spot. if we did 2 things i think we could compete. 1. We need a Brady Tkachuk type of player. 2. We need a Tom Wilson type of player. in the 90s and 2000s, our team made you pay a high price if you wanted to camp out in front of the net. our team today give up the crease free of charge. whats worse we dont have anyone like Dino Ciccerelli willing to camp out in front of thier net. i would agree our scouts are aweful. is the guy who found Datsyuk still working? bring him back lol

  17. If you guys need some heart and tenacity in your depth, Yzerman should throw some picks/prospects at the Flames for Coleman and Lomberg. Those two guys not only work hard every game, but they have consistently dragged the rest of the team into the fight as well. If they were a bit younger, the Flames would keep them, but by the time the rebuild is done, both will be getting pretty long in the tooth.

  18. i didn’t grow up in a red wings household but my dad used to tell me about how fun it was to watch detroit play and just how good they were! anyways, it’s no fun to see your team struggle over the same problems year after year (same thing happens with my football club and it drives the whole city insane).
    ps, thank you for elmo
