Berube is still a good coach but as happens at times to any good coach he lost the players . At this point he has to go . He will never get the players back . I would be completely shocked if he is back next season . And yes I know it's the Leafs we are talking about that don't act until it's way too late , but still everyone knows he has to go .
The leafs need a rebuild trade Nylander and mathews get rid of all those old ass defenceman and build around nies and Cowan

I think they added Berube to teach adults how to have more bite to their game. In the end, dump and chase didn't work with these players. Keep OEL, Matthews and Cowan, blow it up and surround them with guys who will take on the likes of Gudas, Bennet and the Tkachuk brothers when they break the rules of the game.

I’m so sick of listening to this asswipe calling for the firing of a head coach. He knows nothing about the game and unfortunately has built himself a huge platform while convincing people that he knows the game. The maple leafs and fans and YouTubers like him with his rabid base have done more to run the stars out of town than any other NHL team. You lost Marner – that’s why your team couldn’t compete. Look at Florida – they lost Barkov and missed the playoffs. This is what happens. Accept it and say something positive for once. Berube has done more in the league as a coach than any coach they’ve hired. Give this man another year and a team that can compete and you’ll see what happens. In the meantime stop being so negative and high and mighty.
