The Selke is for the defensive forward. The Norris essentially for the offensive defenceman.
If Buium, Karlsson and Willander are any indication, I would argue yes. They had their growing pains, but they all showed they're legitimate NHL players with the potential to be even more. I don't know where people get the idea that Adam Foote is bad with young players. I just listed 3 rookies who had strong first seasons in the NHL under his coaching. This was a very bad team and they have to be very bad for the next 3-4 years or this rebuild won't work. If they're picking outside the top 5 and especially top 10 the next 3-4 years, they'll never get better. The Canucks need to be in a position to draft elite talent with the understanding that statistically, not all of their draft picks will land. If you're drafting in the top 5 for the next 4 years, expect at least one to be a bust. That's just reality. So the more top 5 picks you have for the next few years, the better. In order to do that, you have to lose. Get over it, or the team will never get better.
Everyone rips Bouchard for his defensive abilities. Bouchard is a +23. Hughes is -2.
I've recently changed my mind of Foote. He is a player's coach, and over the last little bit has a 40% PP, and Kane on the 4th line. 🤔
Why would you leave BC? Taxes. Weather. Cost of living. Affordability. Immigration. How insane the people are. The government. The fact we are giving everyone's property back to 1,800 people who don't realize its 2026. Man I could go on and on. Left years ago. Couldn't pay me to move back.

You guys screw up everything. Stu Grimson's career high was 7 points in 82 games in 1997-98. He never hit 10 points. Blake was looking at his +/- stat.
The Penticton Vees/Knights/Panthers have had an embarrassment of talent come through their doors, like Paul Kariya, Brett Hull, Duncan Keith and Brendan Morrison, yet they only have 2 Jr-A National Championships somehow. They'd go 57-3 in the regular season and still find a way to choke in the playoffs. I laughed when they made the jump to the WHL. They'll never win the Memorial Cup.
