  1. People are going to tell you things because you are incorrect that UPL is the #1.

    Ellis outplayed his opposing goalie last night without question. And we can all say that is good and important.

    In the last 10 games UPL has played – arguably his best of this season – the opposing goalie outperformed him in 6 of them based on save percentage.

    I the last 10 games Lyon has played (excluding Washington where the whole team admitted they took the first period off) – arguably his worst of the season – the opposing goalie outplayed him in 4 of those games based on save percentage. This includes Lyon’s worst 2 games of the year. Lyon also had an earlier streak of winning 17 of 19 games.

    At the end of the day you need a goalie in the playoffs that will outplay his opponent.
