You can say that the refs had say in the outcome of the game. of course, 3 PPG and a SHG given up are how they lost. Awful all around game under pressure. Young guys need to learn how to handle the pressure.
Everyone except for maybe zegras and martone was really bad tonight. They were trying but the harder they tried the worse it got. Happens. Im sure the schedule and intensity of all their must win games is catching up to them..and michkov??psshh i would've rather seen Hathaway start over him tonight. Dudes the definition of a 1 way player…coaches nightmare. Im hoping we can trade him somehow and get some good defenseman
The refs decided that game. It's a disgrace to the league. Two teams fighting for points. Stay out of it. They did it when they played in Philly too. They knew if they called pentalies that Detroit would win. 5on 5 we beat them. The referees knew that and used it to f get Detroit 2 points. STAY OUT OF THE GAME AND JUST LET THEM PLAY!!!!!
This game kinda shows me my hunches are right. The league doesn't respect us. When they don't give us the slack, which they won't in the playoffs, we fold. Get em ready Toc. These are the games you need to get them in the right headspace.
Michkov is not an idiot.He is trying to be tough and stick up for himself. Tochs needs to sit him down and tell him he is going to sit if he keeps taking stupid penalties which are killing the team.
Also I agree that the refs are dirty. They royally screwed us in Philly when we played Red Wings.I like to believe hockey is the last major sport that has MINIMAL cheating. Other pro sports are ruined with corruption and cheating.

Flyers are the epitome of inconsistentcy. Sharks, Ducks, Canadiens, Islanders will win cups before Flyers. Its all about elite talent, something the Flyers lack big time and don't know how to draft or develop it.
Flyers combined special teams is near 55, that is pathetic, they dont deserve a playoff spot and will most likely choke.
But being overachievers, maybe they get in and even win a round, thats what overachievers do.
