  1. you wake up and remember youre in the nhl
the team loves you and you love the team
it's game day, time to lock in
it all felt like a blur,
you remember a streak of blue and orange pass by at the corner of your eye
    you done got got
all you can do is stare at the 97 on the back of that oilers jersey,
as you skate back to your bench

    ts is insane man

  2. This was Me during the 90s playing NHL at a PC at beginners mode even though i played it ever since NHL 95 was a thing. He just activates video game mode an no one stands a chance. Crazy.

  3. As someone who is cheering on #97 to win an Art Ross trophy, hearing about a 5 point night is making me happy

  4. good highlights, but why can't we get creative with the titles? "Mcdavid blows by multiple defenders" "Mcdavid splits the d to score incredible breakaway goal" "Mcdavid breaks through defense to score beautiful end to end goal"

  5. Acceleration speed is amazing even when he makes a big giant circle ! Check his foot work poetry in motion at the speed of light !!

  6. Honestly, that play is so textbook McDavid that any team should have a clip ready for every pre-game meeting: “Here’s what he does. Stop him here. Not there. Here.” Giving McDavid that little slice of real estate in front of the goalie is basically asking for trouble.

  7. I feel like I've been desensitized to Mcdavid highlights. He does stuff like this every few games. I dont even think this is in his top 5 goals this season.

  8. Wayne Gretzky was still better. But, Connor McDavid is pretty good. Don't give me those excuses. In overtime against Utah, they lost a point because of McDavid. They won the faceoff and then lost the game. McDavid can go through everyone 3 on 3. Case closed. Not better than Gretzky.

  9. Wayne Gretzky was still better. But, Connor McDavid is pretty good. Don't give me those excuses about Gretzky and the goaltenders back then. In overtime against Utah, they lost a point because of McDavid. They won the faceoff and then lost the game. McDavid can go through everyone in a 3-on-3. Case closed. Not better than Gretzky.

  10. So how should people defend this? Can they just use their body and stand in front of him to block him or is that too dangerous

  11. His legs move like the roadrunner on Bugs Bunny, spinning airplane propeller before releasing the brakes

  12. I dont think we will ever see another player dominate the league from such a young age like we did with Mcdavid again.

  13. smh I…. I…. smh Holy….
My two fav players are #66 and #87. I've watched and played hockey for 36 years. 97 is the most athletic hockey player, if not athlete, I've ever seen. To be THAT much better than 99% of professional players is… SMH. Wow

  14. Messi of hockey. And Messi won his most important trophy at 35. McJesus will win the cup for sure

  15. Leaf fan.. If McDavid had even half of a Patrick Roy or half of a Scott Steven's or Niedimeyer he would already have a cup. But unfortunately. Oilers and the leafs dont address the problems. They just fill the voids and hope.. Leafs need to trade AM34. And Oilers unfortuantely probably lose to my boy Mitchy Marner. The wheels that drove the Leaf bus. Mcjesus cant do it on his own. Just needs a goalie a number 1 goalie. And a top man. Or 2.. here's hoping AM34 is long gone when McDavid hopefully comes home to Toronto. But it won't matter cause Leaf management will somehow fumble the task. And resign Morgan till he's 50. And we still won't have a goal tender. And Oilers will still have nurse and no goal tender. Oh well guess it will be a GO SHARKS GO BY THEN LOL
