The Winnipeg Jets head to Missouri on Thursday night for a matchup with the St. Louis Blues.
But once again, the out-of-town scoreboard isn’t doing them any favours.
The Nashville Predators rolled to a 5-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday, leapfrogging the Los Angeles Kings and moving into the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
That leaves Winnipeg four points back of Nashville.
With just five games remaining, the margin for error is gone.
What once felt like a long shot is becoming even more difficult by the day, as realistic playoff hopes continue to fade.
Cam and Jim break it all down, while also weighing in on Jonathan Toews being nominated for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the social media reaction to keeping Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor together, and Connor Hellebuyck missing practice.
Plus, Jayson Hajdu of College Hockey Inc. joins the show to discuss the NCAA Frozen Four in Las Vegas. How is the NCAA landscape shifting, and what impact is it having on major junior hockey?
All that and more on today’s edition of Jets at Noon.

Jets 5 Blues 2 we keep rolling
Jim Toth should try thinking critically for once. His talking points remind me of a middle schooler in a debate. Not a guy who has “supposedly” covered the game for 30 years 🤣
Is there a 12 million dollar player who HAS to play with an elite C to be productive? 🤔
I can see Helli saying that if next year goes not well
Wrong again, Cam and Jim. You’re not paying Connor and Scheif to score goals or points. You’re paying them to win you games. If you’re making that much money, you should be able to drive a line and elevate the players around you if necessary to win games. If you can only produce when you play with the top player on the team, then you should split your salary with him.
A player can be traded after the trade deadline they just cannot play for that team till next year.
New to this podcast, I got about 15 mins in and had to bail. These two are not as interesting, clever, or funny as they think they are. Both of them are painfully annoying, oof life is too short to spend listening to these two and their inane drivel.
Mr “I’m a journalist” and “30 years experience” now wants his audience to do the research he’s paid to do
Instead he continues misguiding his audience 😂
