  1. The truth is even if he caught Ali, he would have survived. Man survived Ernie Shavers, George Foreman, Frazier, Liston…

  2. I maybe in the minority here, but I think if youve got a prime Tyson and a prime Ali, Tyson knocks him down. Tyson was lightning fast as well and he just needs to connect one or two shots to rock Ali.

  3. Mike is more intelligent than he was ever given credit for.

His intellect for fighting itself should tell you, but people can't see past the little things.

  4. Every knee must bow, and every tongue must confess that Jesus's is Lord, not that ali is the goat. Using the wrong context for the right situation

  5. Each time tyson spoke about Ali or vice versa, fans lovers and supporters of Ali and Tyson were all in one Team..

Tyson s words for Ali makes me Respect n salute him for his humility and humbleness

  6. Ali fought guys that were build like Mike and fought like Mike. For instance Patterson and Frazier. The thing both Ali and Mike got robbed of their prime by the system. Young and fit Ali fought different than the slower version of him that came back after his boxing ban was over. Same goes for the sluggish Tyson that came back after prison time where Tyson was more static and swinging wild for the kill every time. It would have been nice to see them fight both in their prime. Both men were unique specimen in terms of there physical attributes and styles, but I think Ali was more intelligent and would be better at playing mind games, reading Mike and find his buttons like what he did for instance with Sonny Liston and George Foreman. Guys who were considered unbeatable.

Excactly. I think the big difference is that the fighter Tyson we know and feared was created by Gus Damato, but inside Mike there was internal conflict of different voices of the monster Mike, the scared traumatized Mike that didn’t want to be there, the lazy Mike, the headonistic pleasure hunting Mike. Gus kept him in check so he seemed stable in a kind of Hulk mode.

Ali didn’t need that external guidance and push to raise above himself and every situation to excellence. He talked a lot of trash and made a lot of comedy, but it was all calculated, because under the service level there was a giant observing and studying for any type of weakness that could be exploited. As such Ali was a master in manipulation and I think it would be likely that Ali would be able to figure Mike out, frustrate Mike and let him loose self control like for instance when Mike bit Holyfield and wasn’t calm and composed.

The beauty of Mike that the person Mike is perhaps even more special than the fighter Mike, because Mike is so honest, pure, humble, such an intelligent student of life, great men and greatness. That is why it didn’t matter that Mike didn’t stay on top of his game prime monster Mike form. While Ali seemed perfect in almost all his ways and choices, people also loved Tyson maybe because he was the opposite, a man full of flaws, but who always tried. Which is why people still loved Mike when he was down at his lowest, casually giving beautiful self reflecting speeches, for instance when he said he didn’t have it in him self no more to go to dark places and become the monster that only wanted to seek and destroy.

  7. Watching Ali's Parkinson's progressively getting worse had gotta be one of the most heartbreaking journeys for any boxing fan ever. RIP legend 😢

  8. Mike Tysons stupidity cost him everything. The 87-88 Tyson was Joe Frazier X 10 . Then givens and king stepped in .

  9. Would have been a fight for the ages. I'd go for Mike personally, he had that lights off touch and I think he gets a couple of hits in. But would also be happy to be wrong

  10. "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"

some of the simplest words out there but if said outta the right mouth, makes perfect fuckin sense.

  11. That closing look from Ali is a little sad to me, he knows this talk and what-ifs are boring.
He wants the competition and to show the people what would happen.
