That was obvious…. It may have been an accidental drop but the stick was dropped forward like that so… Still illegal. It's a player safety rule. Can't have players slinging 10 sticks your way if you break one.

He didnt throw it… it was dropped cause he was wearing damn hockey gloves and was trying to get it ready for the pick up
41:19 I had a breathalyzer in my car after a DWI and the balloon trick def WON'T work. You have to exhale pretty hard into it for like 5sec till it beeps, then inhale for like 3sec till it beeps again, then exhale a second time for like 3sec. You'd need 2 VERY full balloons and some sort of vaccuum chamber for the inhale part. ALSO they install a camera that sees the entire front 2 seats and WILL severly penalize you for trying any funny business.
It’s cool to get resticked when your stick breaks. But you can’t throw a stick onto the ice mid play. If your stick breaks tough luck, you’re out of the play.
I was at a Toledo Walleye ECHL game a few years back, and the same thing happened. They player on the bench actually launched his stick chest high horizontally and the player on the ice caught it mid stride. Illegal, skillfull and funny.
Hey may have been against the rules but what it did is cost a stoppage of play which was pretty smart.

You can drop something on ice and it moves afterwards So what do you think your skates do You drop them on the ice and then they glide so the stick was dropped and it glided towards sunrise

Looks like you have to update the rules because I that move rocks. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the play why bother calling it? It’s the most boring thing ever when a team scores because of a stick breaking
