I don’t know what’s going on with him lately, but until last season, I thought he was progressing well and with the Ducks’ trajectory heading upward from the looks of it, one would think a guy like him, a big scoring centre, would definitely factor into their plans. I certainly wouldn’t move him. Every young player has slumps.
He got hurt in December. Missed camp. On a new contract. Can the media please not run him out of town with the constant rumor mill like they eventually did with Zegras.
