When you are an injury risk, but not injured, the team can release you for other reasons. I think his career is over. Too much negative baggage for below average stats. It would be different if he were a superstar.
He went on social media and said things that were offensive about LGBTQ people and other topics….The team saw that as âconduct detrimental to the teamâ (meaning harmful to all of them). If one player says something offensive: Sponsors can pull money, Fans can get upset, Teammates can feel disrespected. So the team thinks: âKeeping him could hurt everybodyâ. Thatâs why they made the decision. Keeping him would cause so many people to stop SPONSORING them, and DRAW back MONEY. He wasn't thinking about that part. Truth be told, he doesn't look like he can do much thinking about ANYTHING.
Personally, I don't like the guy, at the same time… Some people spend way too much time worrying about other peopleâs lives, especially when it comes to the LGBTQ community. The truth is thisâŠ.youâre not God. You donât know what somebody has been through. You donât know their struggles, their journey, their pain, or their story. So why are you acting like you have the right to judge them? All that pointing fingers and putting people down, what is that really doing? Itâs not helping. Itâs not healing. Itâs just adding more negativity. And at the end of the day, every single one of us has to answer for our own life. Not theirsâours. So instead of focusing on who somebody else is or what theyâre doing, focus on being a decent human being. Treat people with respect, and stop being modern day PHARISEESâŠ..Major HYPOCRITES.
