This doesn’t suprise me, that the Leafs, didn’t respond, to Mathew’s hit. Remember when Stolarz was taken out by Bennet in the playoffs against Florida, the did nothing then, remember when Stolarz was Tavares was taken out by , Bennet, no response, the Leafs have a bunch of gutless pañsies, that’s why they fold under pressure, when physicality steps up, what do you expect when you have a Nylander. Jarnkrok, Tavares, Reilly, , the Leafs blew it when they let their only e for we go , Reaves, his place on their team wasn’t to score goals, it was to police the ice, make the. cheap shot artists aware of retribution if they take liberties with the Leafs top Players. You fans are responsible, by pressuring Toronto to dump him, as he wasn’t scoring, well now I bet they regret it, , every decent team must have players with balls on it, in order to compete and win in the playoffs, Toronto doesn’t now, I can reall feel had Reaves been on the team on the ice Fudas would not have taken out Mathew’s, so wake up people, don’t always dump someone if they don’t score, take a close look at their role first before you don’t score!!

There is little respect in hockey. Used to be that your whole team would stand up for you and take out a repeat offender like Gudas. Its honestly shocking nobody went after him… pretty much sums up the Leafs. NHL officiating doesn't help… it only encourages this sort of behavior. Players should be given lost games in proportion to the time lost by the player who was intentionally injured. Someone needs to take our Gudas… permanently.
No one came to his aid after that dirty hit. I wish the Rangers would offer Matthew’s a contract after all with his talent he would bring great leadership to the team.
