For most of the season, it was the missing ingredient for a team looking to take the next step in the Eastern Conference. But finally, goaltending looks strong for the Montreal Canadiens as they march towards the playoffs. But will it be a weakness or a strength when all the chips are down? Carlo Colaiacovo and Aaron Korolnek discuss on this 5-minute Power Play.

Dobes gets the wins, as talented as Fowler is you have to go with Dobes as the goalie 1. Playoffs and regular season (at least for now)
This the guy who said Montreal was the biggest loser of the trade deadline cause they didn't go all in? Yeah no thanks.
A claim by Carlo Colaiacovo, about the supposed need for the Habs to acquire a goaltender at the trade deadline ( 0:40 ), is interesting. The Oilers made a trade for a goalie in the middle of this regular season, with a swap between them with the Penguins of Stuart Skinner for Tristan Jarry. That trade appears to not have made much of a difference for the Oilers. An NHL team should thus be careful for what it wishes.
Youngest team in the league…
#99 blew his competition away…the scoring race wasnt even tight…no comparison
I was worried they'd stick with Montembeault or worse pay big for an old used goalie. Thank goodness they didn't.
