You know, say all you want about his work ethic over the past couple years or so (not putting in the work, or just lacking motivation), Petts has done this a few times this year, being the first guy back or blocking a shot. Yeah, that's what the players are paid to do, but of all the players on the team, you wouldn't expect Petts to be the one sacrificing his body at this point in a failed season. Maybe there's a level to him that is only NOW starting to come to the surface. Better late than never. Now get him some line mates who can pass the damn puck to him. lol
Petey is worth the price of admission at this point …love him or not… he’s a Canuck …man out of all the NHL teams being a Canuck must be the hardest… never won… you’re treated like they will get rid of you as soon as you go on a cold streak.. we could’ve had kuzmenko and Petey those two were FIRE and boeser F we had some good lines that management got rid Bo Horvat with Petey was fire
