Flames forward Yegor Sharangovich scores the shootout-winning goal in the 4th round against the Kings, but it doesn’t appear he planned it that way.

  1. LA should be embarrassed. As a Calgary fan, this team h might have the least talent of any team in the league. There’s no way teams in the playoff hunt should be losing to Calgary.

  2. Two season ago, Kings were the best road team. Last year they had the best home record in the league. So this year, what are doing, going for the most OT in a season as well as OT losses. That’s 18.

  3. I'd like to see an overhead of the Panarin goal. Looked like the puck moved backward a bit

  4. Did Frost and Panarin stop moving forward on their goals? (what's the actual rule?) … That has to be frustrating for the goalkeepers

  5. The Panarin goal isn’t a good goal. NHL rules are that the puck must maintain progression toward the goal line. You may not move it backwards or STOP the puck. That puck very clearly comes to a stop before he shoots it. That’s a bad goal.

  6. If you don’t think that last goal was on purpose you are crazy. He totally meant to do that. Watched it the whole way.

  7. Sharangovich did this on purpose. Kuemper just didn't expect "no move" shot, much like these announcers

  8. so what's the wording, cuz there are three different possibilities; it can't move backward, it has to be moving forward, or it can stop going forward as long as it doesn't go backward (i.e. it can go lateral). That being said, I think it's fair to say that pulling it back to shoot doesn't "count" as going backward, it's just a natural consequence of shooting, i.e. the only way TO shoot is to pull the puck back at least a little..

  9. The goalie can’t know what you’re doing if you don’t know what you’re doing. : )

  10. Just my opinion, idt panarins goal, shouldn't not counted, Yes he was moving laterally but going way back, Its like going back in
