Was at the game tonight. 1st period is the best 1st period I’ve ever seen the Preds play! Was amazing!
This result poses a big reality check for this team. Was their most important game of the season if you want them to make the playoffs. Now they are 7 points back. The first period looked like a game from 2023-24, it was men vs boys. It's telling that their worst stretch of the season has come in meaningful march games against playoff teams/playoff hopefuls. It can happen like that with a young team. Would only put one or two of those goals on Ned. We'll see how they do in the next one

I remember when Kopitar was drafted by the Kings, it still took them a few years before they finally made the playoffs. Celebrini pretty much just by himself got the Sharks to where they are now but there's still work to be done by Grier for the D. Celebrini and Smith too are still learning. Give it time.
