The Minnesota hockey community mourns the loss of NHL.com reporter Jessi Pierce, who passed away in a house fire on Saturday that also took the lives of her 3 children and family dog. Jessi was a vibrant, energetic and enthusiastic part of Minnesota Wild media, but beyond that she was an incredible mom, a great friend and an even better person. She will be sorely missed by many.
If you would like to donate, a gofundme has been established for Jessi’s husband Mike. Condolences to the Pierce family, and all those who knew her.

Such a tragic occurrence. I didn't know Jessi personally. No i never met her in person. I am just a Wild fan that loved to watch her on her many podcasts. She was excellent at her job with a very friendly voice and personality. She will be missed by many.
Such a sad situation thanks for the great words you put on for her she will be dearly missed.
Thanks Seth.
I will seriously miss her work, her podcasts, her smile, and her personality. Also, her kids as well were always just as much a part of this state as she was. You can tell she meant a lot to the hockey world in general. So there is only one thing to do now. WILL THE WHOLE DAMN THING FOR HER
Absolutely Heartbreaking , the only thing to do is try to honor her by bringing the same Postivity Jessi brought to the show, myself included I’ll stop w any negative comments and just enjoy the game for what it is.. a game , entertainment, life is so precious , enjoy every moment .

Очень печальное известие дошло и до нас в России. Искренние соболезнования всем родным и близким Джесси. Она была прекрасной женщиной,великолепным репортёром. Это трагедия для всех любителей хоккея.
Thank you Seth
Thanks, Seth. Tragic loss for the whole hockey community. Even more so for the lives she touched. Take care.
This is the saddest I've been in a long time. Thank you for your strength in sharing your memories of Jessi.
Speaking as someone who has never been a big female sports media guy…. I could listen to Jessi talk hockey all day ever day
So sorry for your loss I really liked listening to her this is so sad devastating. Praying for her family to find strength.
Very sad, always enjoyed her take and she just seemed like an truly great person
A heavy emptiness passed through me when I read about Jessie and her beautiful children perishing in a home fire. Mike, my heart goes out to you as a father.❤
So tragic. Devastated for her husband, can’t imagine what he’s going through. She will remembered by many, her impact in the sports and local community will not be forgotten. RIP Jessi
I’m so sad. This is absolutely heartbreaking. I never got the pleasure of meeting her but man I felt like we were friends. She was so knowledgeable and funny! Wild hockey will never be same without her. My sincere condolences to her husband and family 😢
The definition of a tragedy. What a heartbreaking loss. Thoughts and prayers to Jessi's husband, family, friends, and the hockey community.
Seth I know you are feeling this loss. You are truly one of the most caring people I have met. We pray for all feeling this tremendous loss. She had the most smiling personality. Shock rocked me when I heard this tragic news. Jessi, you will be missed. We are thankful to have had your infectios smile every week. I will miss that. Rest In Peace.
Team, win it for Jessi!
I am scared to listen to any of my hockey podcasts this week…..I'll cry the whole time…..
Been an avid viewer for years of MN hockey podcasts. Your voices have become a staple in my home. Jessi’s will be more than missed. Thank you for sharing your experiences with her – it’s clear she touched so many lives, including my own.
I would love to see someone start up a "Jessi Pierce" foundation to honor her legacy in which the mission is to help lower the barrier of entry for girls and women getting into hockey and sports reporting
She is one of the few people I have seen in my long life who glowed physically. Her smile glowed. Her spirit glowed. Her essence glowed…
When I heard yesterday afternoon, I was sick to my stomach the rest of the day/night. Just a horrific tragedy.
🙏❤️😔
❤❤
Worst news ever! Everyone is heartbroken! She was such a great person! Condolences to everyone effected by this.
Praying for all who knew her. She was a great person.
I'm really sorry for the loss of your dear friend Seth. It's a tragedy for everybody in the hockey community here. I didn't know Jessi personally but from how I knew her through her job and on shows, she always had a way of letting her personality shine bright and setting the positive tone. Take it easy bud and don't worry about trying to pump content out. Take care Seth.
Sometimes there’s no words – while I didn’t know her or never met her in person, you could just see the bubbly personality and enthusiasm she brought to the mic. Prayers are with her husband and family – not much more can be said other than our condolences, prayers, and thoughts are with the family.
I'm heartbroken, this is just too sad, so tragic. I've been crying off and on since I heard about this today.
Thinking of you and all of the Minnesota Hockey community
